Connected PC to Biamp Nexia using this device. Mini to RCA then Phoenix to Phoenix on the Nexia. Nothing could be easier and sounds clean.

stereo RCA line level output to Balanced mono

Left and right line level signals should not be combined by splicing, but rather by a unit like this to produce a balanced mono signal. I used this to feed the output of an iPod to a mono 70V amplifier feeding 6 70V (Hi-Z) speakers. Excellent product in terms of durability and sonics.
