What is the maximum weight of a speaker (TO HOLD) Is it rated for?
Although load capacity is not specifically mentioned, the Genelec Short Ceiling Mount for 8000 Series Monitors is specified for use and compatibility with its own line of 8000 series monitors. Presumably, all models in this series should be compatible for use with the 8000-436B ceiling mount, the heaviest of which is 60 lbs. We do not recommend using this mount with speakers from other manufacturers.

I want to mount my 8330a to a drop ceiling how can I do this?
To be able to use a drop ceiling with the Genelec Short Ceiling Mount for 8000 Series Monitors, you would need to mount the ceiling mount to a point above the drop ceiling. Here is a link to an illustration of how it fixes to the ceiling, for further details. https://bhpho.to/4qzVWpD
