No complains so far. Its been two months and they've been working really well. We use them in a three storey building and we've never had any issues.

Please do not buy it.

I bought one of the sets for our church purpose. And I am certainly disappointed that I wasted money by buying Motorola Motorola T260TP Two-Way Radio (White, 3-Pack). The major problem is that batteries are running out so quickly. I do not recommend anyone to buy this product.

I would buy again

Works well for our neighborhood emergency response team

We chose the Motorola T260 model for the block captains in our neighborhood emergency response team after testing several models in this price range. The T260 works well within our two-block square area of about 90-100 homes. Beyond that, the signal range drops off quickly. This works for our neighborhood team, because there are only 22 frequencies assigned for this type of two-way radio, and we don't need interference from similar radios outside of our immediate area. In less densely populated areas a one-mile, line-of-sight transmission would be the best you could expect. In the open countryside the potential range will be longer, since there won't be buildings, trees, transmission lines, highways, etc., to block or reflect the signal. The range also depends on the radio's transmit power and the antenna, which can't be upgraded on FRS / GMRS frequencies due to FCC regulations. The long distances represented by the manufacturers are mathematically possible if you were both standing on mountain tops facing each other on a clear day. Otherwise, they are very misleading. If you want a reliable, easy-to-use radio for around the 'hood, in a car caravan, a campsite, or just for fun, the Motorola T260 is a good choice.

Fun, but not a 25 mile range

These are really fun and useful walkies. I bought them because they said they had a range of up to 25 miles. I should have known better. I get about half a mile of range. I live in a big city, so that may have something to do with it, but still. I am not going to ask for my money back, because I can still have fun with them around the house, but I feel like they could have been a lot better.
