The INSTEON SwitchLinc 2-Wire Dimmer Switch is designed to replace your existing wall switch and add wireless dimming capability. This dimmer requires only two electrical wire connections, so if you don't have a neutral wire available in your switch box, you can still incorporate the dimmer into your INSTEON network. You can manage the dimmer through separately available INSTEON control devices, such as the INSTEON Hub, or you can control it locally. When using the INSTEON user interface, you can control light output by selecting a specific brightness percentage or dimming levels. Locally, you can use the paddle rocker located on the switch to directly control levels. Additional lighting configurations, such as lighting schedules and scenes, are available through INSTEON software. Please note that the wallplate is not included.
