These Are Good If You Need To Maintain Power For A Long Time. They Last About A Year In A Smoke Detector. They Last One Growing Season In My Garden Watering Timers Where They Have To Actuate An Electromechanical Valve. Most LSD NiMH Batteries Don't Make It In These Applications. The Main Drawback Is That Most Chargers Don't Get Them To The Fully Charged State (which Is Above 10V Open Circuit). Works Best With The Powerex Brand 9V Chargers.

Don't last very long.

Which charger is best for Powerex 9.6volt battery? Should it be a Powerex charger or will any 9V charger will work?

The Powerex 9V Precharged Rechargeable NiMH Battery (9.6V, 230mAh) can be charged with any NiMH battery charge for 9V batteries. The iPower FC-9VX44 Fast Smart 9V 4-Bay Charger, BH #IPFC9V4LN, is a good option.
