The Datavideo SE-1200 Bundle is comprised of the SE-1200MU 6-Input HD Video Switcher plus the RMC-260 Controller. The two components of this bundle enable you to control multiple video sources and outputs by using an ergonomically-designed switcher. Employed in lieu of computer-based control, the RMC-260 Controller brings the solidity of a tactile interface to your use of the SE-1200MU 6-Input Switcher. The controller features clearly-labeled, LED-lit buttons and knobs, XPT (cross-point assignment), a sloped interface, and a T-bar lever. The SE-1200MU 6-Input Switcher features four HD-SDI and two HDMI inputs, two HD-SDI outputs, two assignable HDMI multi-view outputs, and chroma and luma key functions.

The control software Datavideo offers for the SE-1200MU switcher is for PC only. They do not offer Mac based software.

Can I set each input channel to 1080 or 720 separately?
The inputs on the Datavideo SE-1200MU 6-Input Switcher and RMC-260 Controller Bundle need to operate at the same video standard. So it can either be 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720.

Can it output 1080p?
The 1200MU can only output 1080i or 720p through the SDI outs. But it can also output 1080p through the HDMI-1 output jack. This setting can be turned on in the menu.

Does this unit stream to YouTube and or Facebook?
While it does not have streaming capabilities built in, it does have an SDI output which you can use with a capture device for streaming. I'm afraid not. The Datavideo SE-1200MU accepts 1080i at 50, 59.94 and 60fps along with 720p at 50, 59.94 and 60fps.

The SE-1200MU has 2 chroma keys available, not 3. You will not be able to run 3 Chroma Keys at a time with this unit.

The Datavideo SE-1200 does not offer an API or direct AMX control at this time.

Does this unit do green screen chroma keying like for a weather man?
Yes it does. The SE-1200MU has Chroma Keying Capabilities. You would just need to feed it a signal with the Graphics for the Weather Man to stand in front of.
