This apparently works only with Datavideo software, which is inferior to other teleprompter programs that work with run of the mill Bluetooth controllers. I've ordered a controller recommended for Teleprompter Pro that costs only $32.42. What I hate is having spent $150 for a useless piece of equipment. Live and learn, eh?

We see no reason the Datavideo Bluetooth Teleprompter Remote Control for TP-150, TP-300, TP-500, & TP-600 would not work with an older tablet.

Is the controller App specific? Will it work on an Ipad with Prompt Pro?
It is designed to work with Datavideo prompter apps. However, Since it is a bluetooth device it should support other applications.

Why am I having difficulty getting this to work with Apple Teleprompter on my iPad M2?
