question

The receiver stays in your computer and is compatible with Unifying technology to allow multiple devices (available separately) to be connected to it. Which keyboards meet this criterion?
Asked by: Ken
We bought 17 M510's and paired them with 17 Logitech K400 wireless keyboards. Any LT wireless component with the orange Asterisk Unifying sign is compatible.....check the logitech web site for details.

question

Are the programmable buttons able to be configured to use a keystroke (on iMac OS X 10.11.6)? I ask because my older Logitech M305 could be assigned and I have not found a newer one to replace it that does more than offer presets to select from. Not what I want.
Asked by: Nancy O.
NONE of the buttons have any effect on my MacBook Pro Retina whatsoever (late 2013 version, purchased from B&H in September 2014). Also, the darn thing does not track on the black fabric mousepad I've been using for years with an earlier cordless Logitech mouse. At the moment, I'm using the T-shirt on my stomach for a mousepad as I lie here in bed, and the mouse is actually hot - how weird is that? NOR can I use my old mouse with the new receiver that came with this Logitech mouse. (My laptop fell off of the bed and broke the little USB dongle - better than damaging my laptop at least.) ALSO, this new mouse does NOT have the freely spinning wheel option, which I find incredibly annoying (it is always in the clicky mode, so it takes forever to get back to the top of a page). I might have to spend a hundred bucks to get a fancy Logitech wireless mouse that actually works with Macs. Good luck, Nancy! (NB: I keep clicking on the Submit Answer button and nothing happens - I hope this answer to your question doesn't show up a dozen times!)

question

Is this compatible with my MacBook Pro Retina? The description says Windows and Linux, but the specs tab says Windows and Mac? Thank you for your help!
Asked by: Mark
Hello Mark. I have the mouse for over a year. Really great product. The Mouse comes with a USB insert that works with both Mac and Windows. No setup needed and is not specific to an operating system.
