For trail hiking, the pack has a single center internal frame stay and a padded waist belt to provide additional rigid stability when moving over rough terrain. If you want to use it as a commuter bag, the frame stay can be removed and the two belt straps tucked behind the generous back lumbar pad. An internal sleeve can hold a hydration bladder during your hike, or a laptop during the week. Multiple interior and exterior pockets and straps provide plenty of room for smaller gear, and a high-visibility rain fly keeps everything dry when the weather turns.
