The Quantum 2 Secured Mag ISO, Smart Contact Card Printer from Evolis delivers an ideal solution for printing and encoding cards in large volumes. The printer personalizes the cards front and back, and can print 1000 cards in monochrome and 150 cards in color per hour. It prints at a resolution of 300 dpi and can also be used to print temporary badges and cards. It uses a direct-to-card dye-sublimation printing method. Cards of 30 to 40 mil size can be used for printing. The Quantum 2 Printer features centralized locking to secure access to the whole system, including cards and ribbons.
