Vidpro DT-10 overview

  • 1Description

At 9" long, 0.5" thick and weighing just 3.8 oz, the Table Video/Photo/Digital Tripod from Vidpro is small and light enough to claim a permanent place in your bag or even easily fit in a pocket. Made of strong polymer, the tripod has a maximum working height of 5" when fully open - high enough for macro work, steadying long lenses, taking self-portraits, or low light photography. Just mount your camera on the tilting head and place the tripod on a reasonably flat surface. The tripod's rubber feet will protect its surface.

    Vidpro DT-10 reviews

Table Video/Photo/Digital Tripod is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Handy basic mini tripod Pros: Folds nice and flat, can support the weight of the heavy Nikon D3s with a standard zoom 2.8 lens. Cons: Although it can support the weight of the Nikon D3s, the light weight nature of the tripod can't help keep the camera level as the camera's 1/4-20 screw mount is not on its center line. So the camera wants to sag towards its battery compartment/built-in grip side. Also, while the tripod screws into your camera easily, tightening the angle/tension knob is difficult as the knob comes into contact with the base of the camera as you turn it. Overall: It's a handy in a pinch mini tripod for quick and dirty low angle shots or table top use, but one would be better off using a mini tripod with a ball head as it would offer better clearance to operate its tension knob.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Short Off-Camera Flash Stands. Bought these to mount my off camera manual flashes and triggers. These are very stable, hold plenty of weight for my application and collapse into almost nothing. Very clever design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great concept, poor construction I bought 2 to use with my GoPro cameras. I like how they fold flat and are lightweight. On the first use, the pin broke off rendering the tripod virtually useless.
