The SLR Magic Cine 75mm f/1.4 Lens for Sony E-Mount supports cine-style shooting on Sony E-Mount cameras. It weighs in at just about a pound and covers full-frame sensors with a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture for shallow depth of field. It features geared focus and aperture rings, a clickless iris that allows smooth aperture pulls, and a 13-bladed iris for a rounded aperture and pleasing bokeh.

The lens is suitable for portrait, interiors, architectural, and landscape cinematography and photography. The front of the lens does not rotate as you focus the lens; this allows you to use optional polarizing filters or accessories such as clip-on matte boxes. It incorporates a 52mm filter thread diameter for using a variety of readily available optional lens accessories.

The lens covers full-frame sensors with a 75mm focal length.
The clickless iris allows you to smoothly adjust your exposure during the shot.
Built-in iris and focus gears follow industry standards, allowing you to work with optional follow focus units and lens gear motors.

Cine 75mm f/1.4 FE Lens for Sony E-Mount is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast and compact 75 mm Not the sharpest of lenses but fantastic character with such a wide aperture. Nice colors and full video gears (including click less aperture). And so compact ! Go for it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its mostly made for video use I also have the 35mm 1.2 version, thought this would make a great pair, but it's not as sharp as the 35, sample variation, maybe i got a bad copy, when i opened the box, the lens had no protective plastic around it, felt like i got an open box item, i will sadly be returning it. It is very soft wide open, and doesnt do very well with busy backgrounds (like foliage, got to try this at Yosemite). It does offer nice background compression, it is a 75mm after all, it blurs the background like an 85mm 1.5. For photos, i would rather go with the new Sony 85mm 1.8 over this, only 100 more, you get autofocus and sharpness. For video, go for it, it will do very well in low light. One thing that i do love about the SLR Magic lineup, low elements (great vintage feel), and 13 aperture blades (bubble bokeh of any light source). The bokeh has character, but the 35mm works better for me (maybe will try the 50mm 1.1 if it goes on sale again). Hope this helps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I?d love SLR magic but... I bought 35mm f1.2, and it?s a really good glass. The 75mm is not sharp as the 35mm, but what do you expect for lens with this price and also has F1.4? The focal length is just bit different to my style, and I don?t use it much as 35mm
