This B&H Kit combines the HP Z240 Series Small Form Factor Workstation with an 8GB memory module, a 4TB 5900 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drive, a 150 Mb/s Wireless N PCIe Adapter, an 18" 7-pin 180 to 90° SATA cable, and B&H installation services. This HP Z240 workstation is powered by a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-6700 Quad-Core processor and includes two hard drives - a native 1TB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive, as well as an additional 4TB 5900 rpm SATA III 3.5" hard drive, for a total storage capacity of 5TB. A Slim SuperMulti DVD Burner is also built into this system for reading and writing data stored on optical media. While the installed operating system is Windows 7 Pro (64-bit), a Windows 10 Pro (64-bit) license is also included and is available at no additional cost.
For delivering sharp, clear graphics, this workstation comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 530. Video may be output to an external display using the 3 x DisplayPort video outputs. Other external peripherals may be connected to this system using the 8 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports. Network connectivity may be achieved using the Gigabit Ethernet port and a USB keyboard and mouse is also included. In addition to wired Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, this system has been upgraded with wireless connectivity using a TP Link 150 Mb/s Wireless N PCIe Adapter.
