I need to power the camera for long shoots, to run it off AC or at least have other fully charged batteries is a necessity.

You will need at least 3 when shooting events.

I really like my new Sony Mirrorless camera and lenses. I have the 24x70mm and 200x600mm. But the batteries don't last long. I think it's just because they are too small.

How can this be mounted? Is there a 1/4 -20 threading on this somewhere to them mount to 15mm rails? If so, can someone explain how or provide a picture so I can get a better idea of if this can fit onto my rig?

There is a 1/4 -20 threaded insert on the bottom of the plate for mounting on the camera or rig.

I already have this that I purchased years ago. I wonder if I attach dc input adapter (from ninja v) on to this. Does this convert any voltage power to 7.2v for sony a series camera?
