Expensive (heavy) lens that delivers

Moved on from a Rokinon 12mm F2 MF to this lens. Had business trip to Tokyo and picked this up locally. Pros: F1.4, super sharp in the center, absolutely great color rendition, nice bokeh (IMHO), silent and rapid AF, solid construction. Works well on Oly bodies. Cons: The price, of course, but you decide if it is worth it. As a hiker and an avid wide angle fan, this is my goto lens BUT the weight is HUGE compared with other MFT primes. I did not subtract any stars because it is lots of glass (low F) and metal construction. Just be aware that as you get older you WILL think about how much you want to lug that extra weight if you are doing mileage.

This 12mm MFT f1.4 has been an excellent lens for wide gimbal work in low light. I use for filming wedding receptions.
