PAWA NP-FW50 does not last

I have been very unhappy with my PAWA NP-FW50 because it has a very short battery life. I have only gotten 300-600 shots per charge depending on how much I have to use my telephoto or not. Additionally I bought another 4 batteries just to be sure they didn't fail me during a shoot. However, unexpectedly my two year old batteries died without warning. Part of that is that Sony didn't allow a battery pack option on its camera RX-10. I went out and bought more batteries.

how do you know the battery is full charged?

The light on the Pawa NP-FW50 Lithium-Ion Battery & Compact AC/DC Charger Kit included charger will turn green when the battery is fully charged.
