Auray ERS-22U Reviews
Awesome Rack for my IT network
This rack is sturdy, has great wheels and perfect build quality. Don't hesitate any longer!
All good except the side panels should come pre-drilled
Great equipment rack
Well-built and easy to put together. Includes M5 and M6 screws. When you're assembling, be sure to pay attention to which size screw holes you want exposed. You may need to adjust the orientation of the corner pieces to make sure they're the right ones.
Good solid rack, for heavy audio components
This is my second Auray rack i put together, the first one was the 16 RU, for my internet stuff, and it worked fine, with a very mild load of router, switches and supporting a printer/fax on top, all weighing less then 40 lbs in total. The 22 RU rack is supporting much much heavier equipment. I am talking about 225 lbs. Yes, and it feels solid and easy to move. I give it 5 stars, for price, ease of building and the accessories it comes with. Ty B&H for offering this nice product at a good price.
Good price bad threads
this was the lowest priced 22U rack I could find. The steel construction seems great. The problem came when I started putting units in the rack. The threaded rails take two different sizes of screws. Depending on which size you want to use, depends how you put the rails on. I started with the standard (American) size for audio equipment 3/32, but out of 20 holes, 5 either stripped or didn't have threads. So I reassembled it to use the larger M6 threads, which worked better, but I needed more screws than what came with the rack. B&H had no idea that this rack used different sizes and couldn't tell me what screws to buy. I guessed and bought 100 12/24 screws which didn't fit, so I'm returning them, but that costs more money. I found M6 screws elsewhere, but the heads are too big to put two 1U units together. This has been frustrating, but to return the defective product would only make it worse.
Have two of these and they are excellent!
Solid rack. as advertised.
Easy assembly, shipped correctly, arrived un damaged
Great functional rack
Easy access to the back of my equipments, the cables are hidden behind the equipments. If plug-in to a power tree, then there is only one power hanging outside of the rack. Well made solid steel .
