Determined to shake up the photographic industry, Hasselblad has unleashed a world's first in the form of the silver X1D-50c Medium Format Mirrorless Digital Camera. This camera takes the well-regarded 50MP 43.8 x 32.9mm CMOS sensor found in numerous medium format systems and incorporates it into a revolutionary mirrorless camera body. Designed and handmade in Sweden, this camera is a precision tool with exceptional ergonomics and a compact size that even rivals smaller format systems. Taking this system above and beyond the rest is a large sensor that works hand-in-hand with the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution to create phenomenal raw images with smooth tonal gradations thanks to 16-bit color depth and 14 stops of dynamic range.

Can Phocus app be used on iPhone for remote control?
According to the description for the Phocus Mobile app in the Apple App Store, the Phocus Mobile app enables you to remote control a Hasselblad camera and perform basic browsing and rating of images. It connects to a host that can either be the Phocus by Hasselblad software running on Mac or Windows or alternatively directly to one of our WiFi equipped cameras. Camera control includes setting parameters like aperture, shutter, exposure mode etc. It is possible to trigger auto focus, mirror up/down and of course image capture. All this is done via a control panel that neatly simulates the actual UI on the camera itself. Camera live view is also available. When browsing images you can zoom all the way into 100% and handle the star rating. Basic image metadata is available.

question
Are the defective hardware failure issues like the control dials and Sd card door corrected?
I have owned the camera since October time and I have not experienced many of the issues that have been reported. I did have a small crack on the hinge of the SD door. I believe that Hasselblad has resolved the hinge issue as the comments that were made earlier in the user groups have stopped. The camera takes remarkable images and I have been very pleased with the camera. I utilize the RSS base plate and with it being adjustable, getting access to all controls is very easy. All the best.
