This Diffuser is designed to work with the Aladdin A-Lite. Using the hinge, you can flip the diffuser up to get maximum brightness from the A-Lite or leave the diffuser down when you prefer a softer, more diffuse light. The diffuser can be completely removed from the A-Lite when it's not needed. It works on both newer A-Lites and on older models originally fitted with a screw-mounted diffuser.

does this screw into a 1/4 20 hole? and does it come with the hindge? I plan to use this on my Blindspot Tile light
It appears to come with a 1/4" screw and knob.
