Ultra-Long Range Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver Kit is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe??? The transmission works well and I have had no signal drop outs. There is a delay in the signal and in my case, since I am sending the video signal by wireless to the TV but the audio directly to my receiver, this causes a noticeable problem with the audio not syncing with the video. When someone speaks it just looks like a very very bad lip sync. I am currently just using the TV speakers rather than my audio receiver while I am trying to find a better solution to this sync problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long Range, But Definitely Line of Sight We were looking for a way to extend the utility of our satellite TV service between buildings without incurring the inconvenience and maintenance of 150' of cable. This kit (plus a couple of enhancements) proved to be the answer. Early experiments showed that the installation needed, indeed, to have line-of-sight between the two antennas. To keep the transmitter unit and the IR Blaster near the satellite receiver, yet locate the antenna in a location visible to the receiver we installed a 5 meter SMA antenna extension cable, routed through the walls to a protected outdoor location (in an attached greenhouse). Fortunately our shop--the target location for the remote signal--has windows facing the relocated transmitter antenna, and a 25' HDMI cable permitted the receiver and IR sensor to be located with a clear view of the transmitter antenna, but still within the room with the target TV receiver. Finally, we required a powered HDMI signal splitter to take the satellite receiver's output and send it to the main TV and to the wireless transmitter's input. Obviously, no two installations will be identical, and many (like ours) will require some additional hardware and creative thinking. In addition to the IOGear Kit we needed: 1 - a powered HDMY 1-to-2 splitter, 2 - a 5 Meter (15') SMA transmitter antenna extension cable, 3 - a quality 25' HDMI cable for the receiver installation, and (optionally) 4 - about 20' of surface mounted cable race to manage/hide the HDMI cable. As a result, we have reliable and consistent HD TV reception in both locations.
