I just got this unit. The screws block the drawer from opening an closing and the drawer makes noise when opening and shutting. I am not sure why this is.
When purchasing sound rack, came across this pull out drawer as an accessory, perfect storage keeping the sound booth cleaner As some have stated before, key cannot be removed when unlocked - not really a problem for us Very pleased with purchase
