Key-Digital KD-Pro8x8CC overview

Route eight video signals to eight displays, all from the convenience of an iPad with the Key Digital KD-Pro8x8CC HDMI Matrix Switcher with HDBaseT. All eight HDMI inputs offer support for DCI and UHD 4K resolution content. Every input can be routed to a separate output set which consists of an HDMI and an HDBaseT output, both of which are simultaneously active, and mirror each other's output. The HDBaseT outputs can carry video, audio, as well as control signals over longer distances than is possible with just HDMI. Included are four HDBaseT breakout boxes for connecting standard HDMI displays to the HDBaseT outputs.

The KD-Pro8x8CC can be controlled in multiple ways, depending on the application. Large-scale installations may want to take advantage of the network connectivity, which allows the unit to be controlled via iPad, or RS-232 for software control. Smaller installations can use the front panel controls or the included IR remote control.

  • Voltage Trigger: I/O ports may be used as a voltage trigger in Compass Control system
  • Relay Support:  I/O 3.5mm ports may be used as relays to support contact closure/opening, when used with an external relay board
  • Lossless Compressed Digital Audio: Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio
  • Deep Color Support: Up to 12 bits/channel
  • Control Routing: Enables bidirectional IR/RS-232 control signal extension
  • Control: Front panel push-buttons and LEDs, TCP/IP, USB port, Optical IR front/rear, Serial IR, RS-232 with full bidirectional operation
