It's a #2. It works. What else do you need?

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but WOW I have never been more angry at a sub-$5 item. I bought these in two different sizes, and the only benefit I've gotten from them is a hamstring workout from picking up the rubber end pieces off the ground over... and over... and over again. On EVERY. SINGLE. CLAMP. I even tried to heat up the rubber with a blow drier in hopes it would shrink it... but alas... no success. PLEASE do yourself a favor and either buy the Impact brand version or just go to your local hardware store. Do not buy these clamps if you value your sanity.

question
Are these as good as the Pony 3201 USA-made clamps? The ones B&H discontinued. These look a bit cheap.

The vinyl tips are constantly falling off for me when I use these. Any tips on how to keep them on?
You could use some gaff tape to secure the tips to the metal either running the length from end to end on each side (this also stops any reflected light from bouncing off the a clamp) or around the base of the tip onto the metal.
