Capture 8MP photos and 640x480 video of wildlife or trespassers with the MP8 Digital Trail Camera in Mossy Oak Country camouflage from Covert Scouting Cameras. Its passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor captures images when triggered by subject movement, and a 0.9-sec trigger speed helps ensure you won't miss the shot.
The camera can also function in time-lapse mode, capturing images at scheduled intervals for the creation of a video showing change over a given duration. While in this mode, its motion sensor will still be triggered to capture shots when movement occurs as long as it is on--so even if it's in between scheduled time-lapse shots, your camera won't miss an opportunity to snag a great image. The MP8's built-in, 28-LED infrared flash enables bright after-dark images while remaining discreet so as not to spook or alert animals or other people. Additionally, a 1" color LCD monitor enables convenient viewing and selection of settings and modes, while a Mini-USB port allows for connection to a computer or TV to see captured images.
The trail camera records photos and videos to optional SDHC memory cards up to 32GB. Power is provided by 4-8 user-supplied AA batteries or an external battery connected to the camera's auxiliary power jack.
