The hydration system features a simple-to-use slide closure that is 100% airtight but allows for easy filling, cleaning, draining, and ice insertion. It also has a multi-layer polyethylene film with Glass-Like technology that prevents bio-build up and is taste free. The co-extruded PE film will not impart any flavor on the stored water. These materials are independently certified to be both BPA and Phthalate free for safety. The Grunge-Guard technology inhibits bacterial growth in the reservoir and other drinking surfaces by using FDA-approved and EPA-registered anti-microbial agents.
