MHG-XT2 Metal Hand Grip is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's an improvement but there could be more to it If you are coming from an X-T1 with an MHG-XT large grip, this grip will seem skimpy. I would prefer a bigger grip with more to hold on to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better handgrip but it should not have been an add-on Most folks (except those with very small hands) will find that the Fujifilm X-T2 is so compact that it is a little difficult to hold well when shooting. This accessory provides that needed extra grip. It is well-designed: all metal, with a cut-out for accessng the camera's battery well, a tripod socket in the optical axis, & a base suitable for tripods accepting an Arca-Swiss quick-change plate. However, it is clear that the camera's built-in handgrip could have been a bit more robust, obviating an additional purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must-have addon for X-T2 Very simple. If you are mounting anything to your X-T2 beside the small primes, you will need this grip or you won't be able to shoot your camera with one hand. Plus you don't need an extra Arca-Swiss style plate as this is incorporated. It's a bit on the pricey side and I believe the Maike grip could be the exact same for less. I had an inexpensive aluminum one on my X-T1 and it handled well, but was very cold in winter. The rubber on this one feels better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary accessory Even though the standard grip on the X-T2 is slightly larger than the X-T1, for my hands, this is still a must-have accessory for the X-T2. It makes the camera very easy to hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great grip - just enough! This is a solid grip, which adds just enough material to improve the handling of the camera, especially with longer or heavier lenses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great hand grip First: This had grip gives the X-T2 and very easily and firmly holdable with one hand. I can easily walk with it held with one hand with no risk of dropping without needing strong clamping, as the entire length on my fingers are wrapped around the grip. The texture is good (slightly on the rough side) favoring good grip. Used with thin grip gloves it's almost glued to your hand. The grip stops in terms of height to allow good mobility to the index for easy control operation. I have slightly above average size male hands. As a comparison, without the grip I fond myself holding the camera with me finger tips much more tiring, les secure and less precise. Wholly recommended unless you have very small hands (in which case you probable don't need this. Generalities, this product it very well made, fit perfectly on the body, access to the battery works well. The screw to tighten it to the body can be operated with a coin or a large blade screwdriver. The Arca-Swiss mount works well in all my tripod heads (various brands) and you can still use a 1/4 in screw in. On fault: the screw can be used with a large coin but in 2017... who has large coins....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Improves grip for XT2 (personal preference) Initially I did not like the grip despite the fact I used the similar grip on the XT1 for 2 years and I felt I needed it to have a satisfactory grip on the body. The XT2's built-in handgrip is much better, and we do not need the additional grip in my opinion. So initially I felt it was a waste of money...I still think it way over-priced by Fuji After using it for a few shoots, I started getting comfortable with it and now I kind of like it. The additional reason to keep it, is the nicely built in arca-swiss plate (for tripod mount). This grip also provides some additional height to the body when mounting larger lenses like the 55-140mm or 10-24 OIS. This helps to set down the camera /lens combo on a table in between shoots more safely (it keeps it level and distributes weight between body and lens more evenly in my opinion). Sorry dont have a photo to show you exactly how it helps :( On balance, I will bite the price bullet and keep it...it is well built and useful, despite being over-priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect accessory for XT2 this is a perfect and relatively inexpensive accessory for the X-T2. It provides a slight deeper grip (important for anyone with larger hands like me) AND a bottom camera plate that can be used instead of a third-party plate like Really Right Stuff's BXT2, which costs $80. It is well machined out of metal and fits perfectly onto the camera body while leaving easy access to the battery and SD card compartments.
