question

How does this printer handle digital prints (4x5.3)? Does it print normally, only requiring additional trimming or can it be set to trim 4x6 at the digital size? Or does it crop, resize or otherwise alter the aspect ratio?
Asked by: Melvin N.
The DNP DS-RX1HS is able to print at the regular 4x6 print size and would require additional trimming for the 3x5.3 size.

Can you transfer to treated surfaces like ceramic tile, glass or aluminum? If so, is the result waterproof (think: coasters)?
Asked by: James
Hi James, At this time, DNP does not have transfer paper for the DNP dye sub printers. It is certainly an area we are considering but to manage your product now, you would need dye sub transfer paper and a compatible dye sub printer.
