Powered by a single CR2032 battery the Sig Sauer Romeo5 ${PrN} Compact Red Dot Sight is a truly battle-ready gun sight. Its optics are enhanced with the SpectraCoat anti-reflection coatings for high transmission across the entire visible spectrum and deliver bright and crisp images. The reticle offers a 2 MOA brilliant red dot with eight illumination settings for daytime target acquisitions and two low-light settings for night vision equipment. The illumination circuit has a special Motion-Activated Illumination function (MOTAC) for powering up and down the reticle depending on the level of movement. It also helps to extend the battery life to 50,000 hours in normal use.
To endure the toughest battlefield conditions, the housing is CNC-machined from a single piece of aluminum and provides a waterproof and fogproof performance. The sight offers two Picatinny mounting options: a standard torx Picatinny mount and an absolute co-witness Picatinny riser mount. The Picatinny co-witness mount offers a see-through base that allows for sure sighting and raises the optical axis 1.41" above the rail.
