Pictures go in easily and are secure. Pages lie flat

Ring system could be better

Good enough for the purpose, but the ring system is somewhat under-engineered. There are two separate sets of rings, mounted one next to the other, instead of a single piece. This is probably so that the same ring pieces as smaller albums can be used on this, but it means the rings are undersized for heavy print-filled pages, and tend to be pulled slightly apart, causing the pages to snag. This is exacerbated by the fact that accurately attaching the two sets of rings must be very hard, and in my copy they are slightly too far apart, so that pages go in with difficulty and are even more likely to catch. The problem is alleviated when the pages eventually wear a little, but this means they will break more quickly, too. The rings really should come in a single piece, be sturdier, and have a better design than the usual teeth meeting in the center, which has always been prone to this kind of issues. I'd happily pay for the inevitable price increase.

Are you able to add an additional 10 pack of the sleeve inserts or is the 22 pages the max capacity that this binder will hold?
Asked by: Mitch
The Itoya Art Portfolio Multi-Ring Refillable Binder (13 x 19") can accommodate more than the 10 included inserts.
