This BAS102 Bassics Roundwound Electric Bass String from GHS is a single .102 gauge, regular long scale string with a 36.5" winding length. Intended for use with electric bass, it is made with a nickel-plated steel wrap over a steel core wire. Wound entirely in an automated process, this roundwound string may lack the aesthetically pleasing silk end of a Boomer; nevertheless, it provides a similar clear and brilliant tone. It can be used as a single-string replacement within your complete set of Bassics strings—should you happen to accidentally break one string in an otherwise unharmed set—or can be combined with other individual strings to create set with your own custom gauges.
