  • Three Fixed Filter Stages
  • 4 x 5.65" Filter Trays
  • 15mm LWS Rod Clamp Included
Featuring a lightweight yet strong carbon fiber construction, Tilta's versatile MB-T12 Matte Box can secure to your camera's lens via its built-in clamp or to 15mm rods using the included 15mm LWS rod bracket. While a 134mm lens adapter is installed, 114, 110, 95, and 80mm adapters are also included for fitting different size lens diameters. Three filter stages hold 4 x 5.65" filters for creatively composing your shots. All three stages are fixed and do not rotate. To effectively block possible sources of flare and ghosts, a 5-piece hard matte set is included, working with lenses from 16mm up to 180mm. A top flag is also included, which attaches using the top screws to block additional light from above the lens.

Does the MB-T12 has a safety latch or something ...

Does the MB-T12 has a safety latch or something that prevents the filter trays from falling if you forgot to lock them?
Asked by: Roei
Not really-- you do need to tighten the screws to lock them in, or it is possible that they'll fall out. This happened to me once. That said, they don't fall out *easily*, so you may be lucky.

How do I use a 77mm lens with this matte box?

This matte box has 15mm rod support. With a lens of that size you would need to have the camera on a baseplate with 15mm rods.

What are the dimensions and depth from frame to lens mount?
Asked by: Christiaan
We believe you are asking what is the distance from front to the back of the matte box. Our guesstimate would be about 4 /10cm.

Will this mattebox fit a standard Arri LMB-25 ...

Will this mattebox fit a standard Arri LMB-25 tray? Will it work with a standard rota-pola for an Arri LMB mattebox?
Asked by: Drew
I have an Arri Rota Pola and it fits in this MB. I also have 2 Arri 4x5.65" trays. You can fit 1 arri tray with 2 of the tilta trays and maybe able to fit up to 2 arri trays with 1 tilta tray but the thickness of the arri trays is slightly greater so you will have to loosen other stages to accommodate.
