Known as "The Power String," these DYL Light Boomers Wound 3rd strings for electric guitar from GHS produce a bright, long-lasting tone with powerful attack and plenty of sustain, and feature a wound 3rd string for thicker and fuller mids.
Boomers are made with nickel-plated steel tightly wrapped around a round steel core wire, which gives them extra durability. The wound 3rd string adds thicker, rounder mid tones, making this set well-suited for jazz players and rhythm guitarists with a heavy right hand.
