To activate DASH, you must register your devices and set up an account with trackmateGPS. Through trackmateGPS, you can receive customized reports and real-time information about your vehicle or vehicles, including GPS location, average speed, total mileage traveled, idling duration, and more. DASH also enables you to set customized alerts that will notify you when your vehicles exceed a predetermined speed, leave a designated area, lose power, as well as other helpful alerts that will help you monitor and protect your vehicles and drivers.
DASH is powered by your car's battery, but also comes equipped with an internal back-up battery that provides up to 6 hours of tracking. With the exception of installer's tools, everything you need to set up your DASH comes with the device, including the GSM and GPS antenna, wiring harness, and U.S.-compatible SIM card.
