If you own an Audix wireless system and you want the option to use your HT2 microphone with a mic cable, this Audix HT2 Headworn Microphone with Phantom Power Supply & Adapter Kit from B&H comes with an APS911 adapter which provides XLR connectivity and phantom power from a mixer or internal battery, and an XLR mic cable. It also includes an HT2 Mic (which you can use as a back-up if you already own one) and a foam windscreen for reducing wind, sibilance, and pop noise.
The HT2 is a professional pre-polarized headworn microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern designed for live stage, presentation, and broadcast applications.
The APS911 is used to power HT2 microphones from its internal AA battery or by adapting 48V phantom power from a mic preamp. It also adapts the microphone's mini 3-pin XLR connector to an XLR connector for use with a mic cable.
Audix HT2 -Condenser Headworn Microphone
The black HT2 from Audix is a professional pre-polarized headworn microphone with a supercardioid polar pattern that is designed for live stage, presentation, and broadcast applications. It can be used when paired with the Audix RAD360 wireless (sold separately) to capture vocals from a comfortable distance of 2 to 3" off of the corner of the mouth.
The headworn microphone has a frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz and can handle very-high sound pressure levels without distortion. It is easy to position, lightweight, and has roadworthy construction. Built with a rubber coated metal frame and a high-performance 5 mm capsule, it includes a 3' cable that terminates with a mini 3-pin XLRF connector.
In addition, a foam windscreen for reducing wind, sibilance, and pop noise is also included.

The Audix APS911 Battery-Operated Phantom Power Supply and Converter is a battery-operated phantom power supply for energy-efficient electret mics that can also adapt 48V phantom power from a mixer or preamp to the mini XLR connection found on these mics. Use it with Audix's lavalier, hanging, boundary plate, and HT2 headset microphones.
Special extras on the APS911 include an on/off switch and a bass roll-off feature.
Battery-Operated Phantom Power
Using a single 1.5V AA battery, the Battery-Operated Power Supply outputs 9V of phantom power for energy-efficient electret mics including Audix lavalier, hanging, boundary plate, and headset models.
Adapt Standard Phantom Power for Electret Mics
The Phantom Power Adapter also mates with phantom power sources on standard XLR connectors (such as 48V mixer channels) and assures that power is supplied to the correct mini XLR pins for Audix electret mics. In this case, the APS911 is in passive mode, passing whatever current is supplied.
A built-in on/off switch helps conserve battery life and also acts as a mode selector when using the APS911 as either a battery-operated phantom power source or a passive phantom power converter.
Clean your recordings of low-end rumble, structural noise transmitted through a mic stand, or unused frequencies by activating the handy 150Hz low cut filter. Since most human speech occurs above this cutoff, you'll want to use it routinely for voice recording.
