Asked by: Elisha
No, it uses a wired remote and we have not come across any options for converting this to a wireless system.

Can we do programmable moves?
Asked by: NICHOLAS
The controller doesn't come with a programmable interface, but I guess you should be able to hook up your own programmable controller following it's signal spec. Maybe a nice add-on by some vendors?

How stable it is? I use some Bescor MP-101 but they are very sensitive to floor vibrations (wobbly)?
Asked by: Daniel
I bought one, the hardware is fine, except for some play in motors gears, it will cause backlash! The controller is so badly programmed! The joystick is just a 4 way buttons, not adjusting the variable speed, it have to be tweaked with the speed adjustment pot. Also at slow speed, the motors are vibrating, i presume by a bad programming of the frequency of the PWM driver... I am using my own Arduino controller and get way better results!: Slower minimum speed, smooth variation of speed without vibrating! The maker should recall the controller and redo the programming, it could be a very nice product if he does!

Are you able to choose rotation angle? i.e. press button to turn 10 degrees?
Asked by: Jonathan
Not that we are aware of. This product offers the ability to change the rotation speed, but we are not aware of it allowing you to precisely dial in an angle to go to. You would have to do that manually.

Can this be mounted on a Church wall and can it be operated more than 20ft away with extended cable?
Asked by: Anonymous
That should be possible. Varizoom has both 50 and 100 foot extensions cables that are compatible with this system. 50 Feet: https://bhpho.to/2Jc1iDl 100 Feet: https://bhpho.to/2vFSbHT

question

Can this unit be adapter to a wireless controller or is there a next step up that would not brak the bank?
Asked by: Gary D.
I would think that it would take quite a bit of work to make it work wirelessly. There are 2 cables that it uses. One for the pan motor & the other for the tilt motor. They send a varying voltage to the motors to control the speed they move the cameras.

question

Is there a external rechargeable power unit for remote locations?
Asked by: Greg J.
no there is not. however, it would not be to hard to rig something up. it uses 12v DC and has a standard 2.5mm X 5.5mm dc input.
