This kit was bought tp provide spares in case I were to lose one or more Star Knobs. As I often set up my astro mounts and equipment in remote outback areas, the loss of one Star Knob would render my iOpton AZ Pro mount virtually non functional unless I had a spare or replacement. This kit was bought to provide back up spares for a required item just in case. The included Centre Post bolt is a bonus, as this is unlikely to require replacement. But it is handy to have one as a spare also.
