ORCA Large Hard-Shell Bag Reviews
Quality bag, well-made, wish more divider options
The ORCA hard-shell is working out well for me so far for a DJI Ronin RS 2 gimbal and accessories. The size of the bag allows me to keep the gimbal almost fully assembled. The zipper is high quality, interior is well padded. My only wish item is more dividers in varying sizes for a bit more customization.
I'm satisfied
The product came as expected and was stronger and better than I thought.
I can't say enough good things about ORCA hard shell cases.
I own about 20 of these, medium and large... and I always feel that my gear is protected! And the cases (empty) are light! The other day one of my friends dropped one from the top of the stairs with gear in it - it tumbled (more like bounced) down an entire flight of concrete stairs... about 14 steps and nothing was damaged!
Buy it! -- Don't look Back... :)
It is what you always thought it should be... good for a lifetime of use --and so high quality. My instant favorite... and I have lots of box's and bags of every manufacturer. 30 years of work on 4 continents. I know bags and cases.
good bag
The only complain is that it doesn't have trolley strap on bag, that is going to help with handle of another case, and handle is not good enough should be wider, everything else like protection is good, they copy some technology from Kata bags.
very useful
Perfect for Carrie
Great internals - Not very durable
I just took this bag on its first trip as a carry-on. The shoulder strap is thin and the buckles are very cheap plastic. I was already concerned so luckily I was also holding onto the handle when the strap broke. This bag is only suitable for local transport and storage and cannot handle the load its capacity can generate.
So good
Wow, I'm so impressed with the size and quality for the price. Wish I had found these bags sooner. Do yourself a favor and watch the promo video because the pictures don't do it justice. I hate ordering bags just to find out they are way smaller than expected because I have a lot of stuff to carry. This thing is almost as big as a regular carry-on suitcase. And since the storage is maximized compared to a pelican style case it probably holds more stuff than the larger pelican. I was struggling to find something to hold all of my audio gear and organize it and have pockets, and this is perfect. The branding is a little obnoxious though. This would be a great option to put a large camcorder in, more protection than any bag, and a bag this size costs twice as much. Trust the measurements, not the pics.
