Featuring a USB MIDI-host port, four pairs of MIDI DIN in/out jacks, multiple-computer support, and Ethernet network MIDI, the mio4 from iConnectivity lets you connect to your vintage or modern MIDI equipment, and create a powerful and flexible workflow for merging, filtering, and routing MIDI messages, whether you're working on your own or collaborating with other musicians.
The mio4 enables you to work with two computers at the same time or with several more over the network, and provides a total of 48 configurable 16-channel MIDI ports. Furthermore, it can be and used as a stand-alone interface when powered by the iConnectivity power adapter (available separately).
The MIDI routing and processing is simple to set up in the free, downloadable iConfig software for Mac OS X and Windows. The interface is USB class-compliant so there are no drivers to install.
The unit is housed in a rugged half-rackspace enclosure and is built to stand up to the rigors of the road.
