    On-Stage UTC2200 reviews

UTC2200 Utility Cart is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm liking it so far! Sorry this won't be an in depth review. I don't usually do reviews actually, but since there are none for this hand truck I thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. I have only had this cart for about a week now but love it so far. Seems to be built very well, strong, pretty good design would like the wheels to be a bit bigger but not a deal breaker. Bass player so my cabs are pretty heavy and it handles them no problem. I would give it 5 stars but have not really put it through its paces yet. High points 1-Strenght 2-Design 3-Easy to use 4-Availability of replacement parts. (if needed) Feels like it should give years of service! Hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Rolling and Solidly Built This was a great buy! Tired of making too many trips back and forth to the car to pack in all the gear I typically need, this flexible little cart turns out to be a real timesaver. The build-quality is excellent and the price can't be beat when compared to similar carts on the market. I especially like the holes in the uprights that allow me to use bungees to secure full loads and limit the number of trips necessary. The only thing I wish it had was some way to lower the top upright to parallel and thereby convert the trolley into a convenient handtruck. Otherwise, this utility cart is just great and really does the trick. I can highly recommend it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very very sturdy I really like this design compared to the Rocknroller multicart. They are very similar. The biggest difference, for the better, is the way the handles fold down. There is a solid bar on the bottom that holds the handle in place rather than a tension cable. It makes collapsing so much easier and faster. I always like customizing my carts to have second stage so check out the pictures I uploaded. I do wish that the cart is a little bit longer, or if they offered different models for different needs that would be amazing. the only reason I didn't give this a 5 star is that the handle bars are a bit low. for a taller person above 6ft, you would have a hunchback situation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I would not buy This product again I bought this cart instead of a rock and roller cart. Thinking that it would be a less expensive version of it. It is. It is shorter in length than a rock and roller. And the handles only come up to approximately 4 feet. So it is very hard to push unless you're bending over. The wheels are plastic. And that centers of the wheels are plastic if you are using light weight items and don't mind bending over as you push. It will probably be fine. Please note it i so it is very hard to push and less you're bending over. The wheels are plastic. And that centers of the wheels are plastic if you are using light weight items and don't mind bending over as you push. It will probably be fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Rock n Rolla I don't know why I went so long without investing in one of these carts. It's great. I have used the Rock n Rolla carts before but I don't like them because of the finicky cable pull to fold the handles down. This cart has a metal bar that can easily be operated with your hand or your foot to quickly fold the handles down. The only downsides are that the handles are a little low (I'm about 6ft tall) and there is only one size and not any accessories available from On-Stage. But that's definitely not enough to deter me from recommending this to everybody.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sweet cart bro I had a video shoot yesterday and I made 2 trips to the car to get equipment instead of 5 or 6 trips... because of this utility cart. I'm a 6' tall dude and I don't have to bend over to grab the cart's handle, as has been mentioned in other reviews. The only downside is that it is another 28 lb thing to load and transport, but it passes the cost-benefit analysis with flying colors. Would buy again... Came fully assembled from B&H in two days with free shipping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of value for the price. I bought this cart when it was on B&H's daily special. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the cart. It's solid metal (steel I suppose) with anti-skid strips on the bottom rails. It's nicely painted and assembled. The two end pieces fold down for storage. When up, they lock solidly in place. The length of the cart can be extended. The wheels seem very solid. All-in-all, it is a good deal at the regular price and an even better deal on sale. I expect to get many years of good service from the UTC2200 Utility Cart.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Alternative I have used this cart for 3 on-set shoots so far, and it has been great. This is a nice alternative to the industry standard cart, and although I have taken some flack for not buying the more expensive, well known brand, I would still buy this one instead. At about half the cost, it is a good investment. Here's some highlights: - Seems to be great, sturdy quality - Wheels and brakes seem to be great quality - I like the brakes on this more so than the better known brand - I also like the handle locking mechanism more so than the better known brand My only complaint is that the handles are a little too short for most people. I'm close to 6 tall and I have to bend down some to push the cart along. There is a center hole drilled at the top of the handles, so I may try to rig up a vertical handle that can help with this problem.
