Bering Optics' PVS-14BE 1x22 2nd Gen White Phosphor Manual Gain Night Vision Monocular Kit offers a versatile, compact, and rugged night vision device that can be used handheld, mounted to a helmet, weapon, or worn with the included headgear. The second generation intensifier tube technology incorporates a microchannel plate that improves sensitivity, image brightness, and quality compared to first generation devices. While the White Phosphor Screen Technology generates black and white images, the manual gain of the tube allows you to adjust image brightness and to control detail, depending on your preferences and lighting conditions To maximize image brightness in nearly-total darkness, the monocular carries a built-in IR illuminator that casts extra infrared light on your targets. To add convenience and stealth for tactical applications, the device offers an activation status indicator and an automatic off function when you turn it up or take of off your headgear. The 1x lens system, upgradable to higher magnifications with optional lenses, offers a wide 40° field of view and an ultra-short minimal focusing distance of 10".
