The Zoom AD-19D is a 12 VAC power adapter. It is intended for direct use with the Zoom F8, F8n, LiveTrak L-12, LiveTrak L-20, LiveTrak L-20R, TAC-8, or UAC-8 devices. Operation with the Zoom F4 requires an optional Zoom DHC-1 DC to Hirose adapter cable.

This is my third one because the cable gets frayed when I'm constantly wrapping it up and trowwing it in my bag. Because of the recessed connection the F8n, I haven't found other units that are better.
This does not work on the F4 (or F8) as is. It does not include the required adaptor. The "Zoom DHC-1 DC to Hirose Power Cable for Zoom F8n, F8 & F4 Field Recorders (10)" is no longer available to adapt the PSU from a barrel connector to Hirose. B&H should label this different!!!
