question

Can a Blimp be placed on top of this? also, will it hold short condenser mics like Audix SCX1-HC?
Asked by: Andres D.
The PG2-R Pistol Grip Shockmount is only a pistol grip. It will not fit inside a blimp. The Audix is only 4.09 long and the pistol grip is 9.4 long. But if you look close you can see the rear mount can be moved forward shortening the distance. So I think you should be able to move the mounts close enough that you can use the Audix.

Can the top plate with the lyre shock mounts be unscrewed from the pistol grip? And if so, are there any other mounting points below the plate (like a 1/4" thread) that could be used to mount it to a friction arm and placed on a camera?

Will this fit an AT8035?
Asked by: Willow
Hello Willow, you may need to check the dimensions of the AT8035 and compare them to the PG2-R. The PG2-R does work with the Rode NTG2, so you could also compare the dimensions to it.
