I Shoot Weddings, And I Use Three Light Stands At Every Reception. I Need One Which Is Sturdy, Can Hold A Medium Sized Flash As Well As Be Positions High In The Air. Also I Need It To Be Light Weight. This Model Does All Of That.

The impact HD light stand is rugged, nice looking, and well-built. I'm using it to raise an RF device above people traffic. It is just perfect.

(Please remove my first answers I was mistaken) it does come with a spigot.. but I would encourage the Air cushioned model as that is a plus feature protecting your equipment and your hands by safely lowering the gear when you are striking the event.

I lost one of the threaded knobs for this stand, is it possible to order a replacement knob?

Unfortunately, Impact Studio Lighting does not list the threaded tightening knob for the Impact Heavy-Duty Light Stand (Black, 13') as a separate replacement accessory. If you have misplaced yours, I would recommend contacting them directly either by calling them at (212) 594-2120 or by e-mailing them at [email protected] to request a replacement knob. They should be able to assist you with your request.

Yes, but this stand can go pretty high. When you push it to the top it tends to lean a little an I definitely recommend sandbagging the legs to keep it from tipping from wind or something bumping it.
