Considering my set of Canon CN-E primes is about 4 times the cost of my car, I feel safe with my lenses in this case when I drive my old Honda Civic to a shoot. I also fly a good bit, and while I would prefer not to check my lenses, if I have to I can be confident that they'll be in good shape when I get to location.
