Yasuhara 28mm f/6.4 Momo 100 Soft Focus Reviews

DISREGARD PREVIOUS REVIEW

The previous review of this lens was from version 1. The new version 2 solved all of the issues and quality control. This is without a doubt the best soft focus lens I have ever used in my 24 years of photography. The first generation had me very frustrated with the issues so when I contacted the company directly I was surprised to find they had redesigned it. I was sent this current version and I am in love!

Terrible Build Quality!

After 50 years of photography, I thought I had seen the worst there was, from light leaks to plastic parts that broke by the power of my gaze. But the Momo 100 28mm f/6.4 lens for my Olympus Pen-F rotated in the mount several millimeters and could be wobbled in angle simply by touching the lens. Fortunately, B&H was - as always - great to deal with and I was able to return it for refund with absolutely no arguments. *IF* this lens had a good build quality, it would have been a nice addition to my bag. So if you want to try this out, you can order it from B&H and *IF* you get a good copy, it just might work for you. Experiences like this are why I like to order from B&H.
