Communicate with up to 4 RS-422 devices simultaneously from one USB port on your Mac using the Softron SerialCommander. One application is for controlling multiple VTRs for ingesting tape-based or other linear media. If your system is capable of multi-feed ingesting, up to four VTRs worth of material can be queued simultaneously using the separately available MovieRecorder software. Multiple units can be used on the same system for controlling more devices.
