It’s nearly a week late for the delivery and the tracking doesn’t work. No way I can say anything about this clamp.

Fast clamp

Works well and is easy to use. Be sure to remember to get a reducer bushing to screw it to the tripod. It cost me several days because I forgot to order one. Once the bushing arrived the clamp locked to the tripod in a jiffy. I'm using it with an L-bracket.

Brilliant quality clamp

This is beautifully made and solid. It matches well with the FLM 43 FT it is now mounted on. Having a built in Allen key is an excellent addition. Arca-Swiss plates and clamps vary slightly so settling on a brand to become the one you always get is a good idea. The Kirk brand name has a very well deserved reputation which makes it the most logical choice for those who want high quality tripod, camera and lens mounts. This was obvious from the moment I opened the package the QRC 3.18came in. I compared it with the Arca-Swiss clamp I had. The other one came with a tripod from a well known manufacturer and the difference was very noticeable. If you think it is expensive, keep in mind that it is not a lot more than other brands but the difference in quality is significant. Highly recommended!
