Stay connected on the go with the 4th-generation black Moto G Play 16GB Smartphone from Motorola. This device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 2GB of dedicated RAM. It comes equipped with 16GB of storage and includes a microSD slot that supports microSDXC cards with up to 128GB of memory for additional storage capacity. The integrated micro-USB interface allows you to connect the device for mass-storage purposes and also serves as a charging port.

The Moto G Play houses a 5.0" LCD touchscreen display, which features a 1280 x 720 resolution that fully supports all your HD content. For your photo and video needs, the Moto G Play features two cameras: a rear-facing f/2.2 8MP camera with auto-focus, LED flash, auto HDR, and 1080p video capture, and a front-facing f/2.2 5MP camera that can flash the display a bright white for low-light self-portraits.

The Moto G Play is also well-equipped for wireless communication. It features Bluetooth 4.1 + LE technology for pairing with other Bluetooth devices, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi for high-speed Internet connectivity. GPS with GLONASS is also on-board for using compatible location services and applications. The Moto G Play's 2800mAh battery is designed to provide "All Day" mixed usage on a full charge.

Note: The XT1607 is the North American Variant of the Moto G Play. It will run on any GSM network that uses cell frequencies supported by the device, including AT&T and T-Mobile. It will also work with certain CDMA carriers, such as Verizon and Sprint. Current Verizon SIM cards may be able to be transferred to the new device, though the carrier may limit the purchase of new SIM cards for unlocked phones. Since this device is unlocked, functionality for certain carrier-specific features cannot be guaranteed. Please confirm with your carrier that it supports the Moto G Play before purchasing.

GSM + CDMA / 4G LTE Wireless Connectivity
This phone is designed to work on select GSM and CDMA networks and is 4G LTE capable. LTE is an advanced cellular network data protocol capable of data speeds so fast that they compete with wired broadband Internet providers. With an LTE connection, this phone should have no problem streaming HD video, downloading apps, uploading photos, or anything else that requires a high-speed data connection. The phone is also backwards compatible with 3G and 2G data for instances when you can't get LTE. In addition to cellular wireless, this phone also features Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
North American Variant / US Compatible LTE
The XT1607 is a US variant of the Moto G Play. The XT1607's LTE radio is tuned to frequencies that are most often used in the United States and North America. It can also be used in other parts of the world; however, LTE access may be limited or unsupported, depending on the network. To ensure this phone will work with your carrier please check to make sure the frequencies your carrier uses are supported by this phone. The full list of compatible carrier frequencies can be found herebstexquwyscweyyxscysuzwubzyd, the frequencies this phone supports can be found in the product specs.
All-Day Battery
The Moto G Play is designed to last a full day and then some. With a 2800mAh battery, you can go about your day and not worry about battery life. Go to school or work, visit with friends, and then head out for the evening - you'll still have enough juice to get home.
Water Repellant
Advanced nano-coating technology creates a water repellent barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water, such as accidental spills, splashes, or light rain.
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
The Android operating system integrates heavily with Google's services. Using the card-based Google Now, Android quickly surfaces information for you whenever you need it, powered by the same Knowledge Engine that runs Google's web search. It's a personalized and customizable OS, allowing you to add your favorite apps or widgets to your homescreen. You can even download new themes using the Google Play Store, which offers access to more than one million apps, games, books, music, movies, and more. Android 6.0 Marshmallow overhauls permissions, allowing you to have finer control over what your applications have access to. It also marks the debut of Now on Tap, a context-sensitive update to Google Now that checks your current screen for keywords and then searches for them automatically. Other performance and security enhancements are included as well.

Moto XT1607 reviews

Moto G Play XT1607 4th Gen. 16GB Smartphone (Unlocked, Black) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 188.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's really the most bang for the buck It's really the most bang for the buck there are a lot of cheap android devices that look slick but are really lacking when it comes to basic performance like making phone calls sending text or takeing pictures. Even some of the more expensive phones have signal issues. this phone does all the basics quite well and as an added bonus it's a smart phone as well and it has good signal. some people had complaints about the GPS, so far I find it to be working fine. if you want to spend five or 10 times more to get an iPhone or a Samsung go right ahead. I find it hard to believe that they are actually five or 10 times better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Has potential, but not quite there I have to give this phone 1 star because of one major problem. The bluetooth fails often. I purchased the phone new and within the first month the bluetooth stopped connecting to everything. I contacted motorola for a replacement and the rep advised me that this is a common problem for all 4th generation moto g phones. Motorola did attempt to correct the issue by overnighting me a replacement. Well the replacement came and the bluetooth does not work. The device can't be discovered and can not discover any other devices. I purchased 2 of these 1 for me and 1 for my wife and her device can connect via bluetooth, but will not produce audio. 3 devices in less than 2 months and bluetooth has failed on all of them. This really sucks because outside of that this is a pretty nice phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great value! I am not what you would call a power user, but I use my cell phone mainly to check email, for GPS, and in case of emergencies. Going from an old Samsung to this phone was like a breath of fresh air. It is fast, has a decent amount of memory, is easy to use (once you get used to it, anyway), and has performed flawlessly for the month I have been using it. I use it with Republic Wireless, so the phone was inexpensive and the service is inexpensive, but together, they are all I need. It also seems sturdy the touch screen is very responsive. Who needs an iPhone? Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pleased with Moto G Play I purchased this unlocked phone as the ones my cell phone provider offered in this price range had terrible online reviews. I also wanted another Android phone - same as my current 2 1/2 year old Samsung. All the reviews I read indicated this phone was a great deal for the price. Besides a phone, I basically use it for texting, checking emails, using Google maps when traveling, etc. It also has many bands as I travel both to Europe and Asia so won't have any problems then. I don't watch videos on it so I was happy with the screen size - wouldn't have minded a bit smaller but those are out of style now.... So far I am very happy with the phone - it automatically brought over all my apps from my old Samsung and the files on my SD card are there as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fantastic budget phone This phone has been fantastic so far. I am a fan of budget phones and this is one of the better ones I've used, if not the best. I've gone through an Asus Zenfone 2 and Honor 5x in the last two years. And I can say the experience with the Moto G4 Play has the most pleasurable. Asus had a ton of annoying bloatware and the Honor 5x suddenly stopped working 2 months in, but even the experience beforehand was disappointing (slow, slow, slow). The Moto, being cheaper than the previous two mentioned, surprisingly exceeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy this product again. I would buy this again. Actually, my husband wants one, too. It is a good size, has good sharp colors, and takes good pictures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Deal Ever My LG had internal issues after 6 mo use and the repairs would have cost more than this phone. I purchased this Motorola on a black Friday sale and was informed it was back ordered 2 weeks. When it didn't arrive I contacted B&H who promptly responded that it would ship at the end of Dec. I was pleasantly surprised to receive it Dec 21. I have yet to discover anything I dislike about it. In fact I like it better than the phone that cost me 3x as much. Works fast. Very compatible with Google platform. Easy to handle. Best value I've seen in a smartphone!
