Feiyu FYG4PRO Overview

Capture smooth video with your phone with the Feiyu G4 Pro 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer. The G4 Pro offers seamless switching between pan, tilt, and roll modes, and features a four-way joystick controller that allows you to move in all directions as well as adjust the axial angle.

The G4 Pro fits all iPhones from iPhone 4 to iPhone 8 Plus, or similar-sized Android and other phones. It has a simple and reliable quick release mounting system, and uses high-precision brushless motors in the gimbal.

One of the outstanding features of the G4 Pro, thanks to the incorporation of a slip-ring design, is limitless 360° panning, which provides you with the maximum range in capturing panoramic photos with your phone. The stabilizer also offers 320° of tilt and 100° of roll. The camera position can alternatively be locked when you want static shots. There's also an indicator LED light that flashes in different sequences to inform you of a status change or provide a warning.

The included battery provides approximately four hours of usage time. Also included are a charger, USB cable, and three counterweights ranging from 0.2 to 1.8 oz, which you can use for counterbalance.

Working Modes

Panning Mode

The phone is allowed to pan left or right. Vertical tilts or rolls are restricted.

Panning and Tilting Mode

The phone is allowed to pan left or right and tilt up and down. Rolls are restricted.

Lock Mode

The phone stays in its current orientation. All panning, tilting, and rolls are restricted.

Other Functions

Inversion Mode

Allows you to use the stabilizer switched upside down in all three modes (pan/tilt/roll).

Standby Mode

The drive motors stop working, and the stabilizer is kept in standby. A single tap wakes the stabilizer and restores it to full power.

question

I'm having problems with keeping it level. I've tested two phones in it, making sure to do exactly as stated in the manual and it still slightly dips the other end of the phone down rather than keeping it level. I've tapped it 6 times as well, but when I tried adjusting it there it didn't move whatsoever. help?
Asked by: Josh H.
Im sorry. I never received this item. But I can say from working with other gimbals, make sure you have the latest firmware, and that you have calibrated the gimbal to the proper levels without any phone/camera attached so essentially it should be balanced once its powered up. After that is done, Id then attach the phone/camera and adjust the weights so that it is as close to even/level in all directions without being powered. Once its as close to being level in all directions without power, Id power it up after that.Hope this helps. Worst case having defective gimbals is possible. Ive read the calibration gets messed up in shipping or if its been in storage and not in use for a while.

question

I can't seem to recharge this. Why won't the indicator light turn on when try to charge?
Asked by: David
Make sure the batteries are seated properly. I've had one of the batteries go bad and had to replace it. This might be the case. You can find the replacement batteries online. Also, make sure you are using the correct charger cable. The battery charger dongle port is very rigid and sometimes you have to make sure the cable is pushed all the way in or in some cases lose a little.

question

what usb cable comes with this?
Asked by: steven
There is no USB connection on the gimbal unit itself. The cable that powers the battery charger (that comes with the gimbal) is a USB 2.0 A / Mini USB B cable.
