For past year have to change out 3 times in D2 1000 most problematic heads in profoto history.

One star for the flashtube, although I give the accompanying D2 a 5-star rating for its super fast recycling time. Over two years of Covid lockdowns, I used my new D2 a total of 63 days, 300-1200 shots per day. At the end of the two years the tube needed replaced? I'm very gentle with my equipment. The D2 was always transported in it's padded case, inside a padded transport with shock absorbing wheels. I used multiple monolights from another brand (that take $50 flashtubes) for 10 years, with four times as much usage each year, and only had to replace two tubes (out of 5 monolights). I can't believe this Profoto flashtube is so fragile. I switched to Profoto two years ago and have enjoyed the experience, but was very close to replacing my entire Profoto setup (1xD2, 2xB10 and 4xA1) because of this major flashtube failure. Ultimately the D2 is very fast and the Profoto system is mostly solid, so I bought this new flashtube. I'm okay with paying more for a great system and quality. But when I pay more, I expect more. This flashtube does not meet expectations. Yes, it flashes, but so do the $50 tubes that are 20 times more robust.
